He handles a wide range of issues in these areas for both self-insured employers of all sizes, insurance carriers and third party administrators. This includes Workers’ Compensation matters from pre-trial to trial through appeals, as well as civil matters all the way through discovery to settlement or jury trial, appellate representation and Supreme Court briefing and oral argument. Mr. Furtado argued two of the only four workers’ compensation matters the RI Supreme Court heard over the last two years.
